Suspect Wanted In Shooting Of Child In Philly

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to a shooting in the 12th District on the 2000 block of South 57th Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound. The child was immediately transported by police to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where he was later listed in stable condition.

Following an investigation, authorities identified the suspect as 43-year-old Keith Holmes, a resident of the 2000 block of South 57th Street. An arrest warrant has been issued for Holmes, who is wanted on charges of Aggravated Assault, and related offenses.
