Arrest Made In 2024 Mayfair Murder

Philadelphia Police announced the arrest of Corey Vixama in connection with the January 2024 shooting death of 21-year-old Shaquawn McNeil. He was shot multiple times in the chest during the early morning hours of January 8 2024 on the 5000 block of Glenloch Street.
Police did not give a motive for the shooting, but they said their investigation pointed them to Vixama, who also resides on the 5000 block of Glenloch Street.
Police did not have a mugshot for him, as the arrest happened early this morning. Police said they will release more information such as where he was arrested and Vixama’s age and if there was any relationship between the two.
Vixama is charged with murder and weapons offenses.
