On April 26,2025, police were dispatched to the 4800 block of Redfield Road, in Buckingham Twp. for a report of a male that crashed his car into a parked vehicle. When this male exited his car he would start to scream profanities as well as political and religious statements that many would call offensive, police said.

When neighbors walked outside, this male would chase after them, police said. He had a weapon sources said he was swinging a chain. but police would not confirm what that weapon was. Police were called and when an officer responded, the male charged after the officer, who tried to taze him, police said. The tazer had no effect so the officer shot the suspect, police said.

No details were released on how many shots were fired by police. The officer rendered first aid on the male until medics could arrive. Police said they recovered two weapons but did not elaborate.

This male is expected to survive his injuries and will be charged upon his release from the hospital, the Bucks County District Attorney said. The officer is still on restricted status until the investigation is concluded. You can read our original coverage here.
