Man robbed Of His Shoes in Chalfont, New Britain Township

Authorities in New Britain Township are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Sunday evening and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect.

According to a press release issued by the New Britain Township Police Department, the incident took place on May 5, 2025, at approximately 7:35 p.m. Three individuals were sitting on a curb at 100 Manor Drive in Chalfont when they were approached by two unidentified offenders. One of the offenders forcibly stole a pair of sneakers from one of the victims.

As the victims attempted to retrieve the stolen footwear, one of the suspects—who has been captured in a surveillance image—allegedly turned around, displayed a firearm, and threatened them, saying, “I’m going to shoot you.”

Police are urging anyone who recognizes the pictured suspect or who has information related to the incident to come forward. Tips can be submitted by calling 215-822-1910, emailing po****@***pa.us, or clicking the “Submit a Tip” option on the department’s official website.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released further details at this time.
