
Philly Police Seek Driver and Vehicle In Fatal Hit and Run

Police recovered security camera footage that shows a dark color SUV, possibly a 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator that drove over somebody and never stopped. According to police, this incident happened at 11:35 PM May 2, 2025 on the 400 block of North 63rd Street.


Police said a person was laying in the road when the right front of the vehicle ran over them. The SUV never stopped and continued on, last observed east on Girard Ave. The pedestrian was rushed to Lankenau Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on Saturday, May 3, at 12:21 PM, police said. Police gave no reason as to why the person was laying in the street.

Police said the pedestrian was a 47 year old male. The vehicle had both front and rear license plates which could indicate out of state registration.
