Police Respond To Suspicious Death In Northeast Philadelphia

Philadelphia police were called to a home on the 6500 block of Roosevelt Boulevard for a “Hospital Case”. This was about 11:16 PM. When officers arrived, medical personal were on scene.
Inside, a 98 year old male was found seated on the living room steps, police said. There was a significant gash to his forehead. Police said medics pronounced the male dead at 11:00 AM, prior to police arrival.
The death is being call suspicious and is being investigated by Homicide Detectives.
