Male Wanted For Assaulting Woman In Center City, Gets Beaten Up By Her Instead.

A male was caught on camera assaulting a female 300 block of South 12th Street. A 35-year-old female was walking north on 12th Street on May 9 2025 just about about 7:02 PM. She was minding her own business when an unknown male walked up behind her and then grabbed her from behind.
He grabbed her by her neck and tried to take her glasses and then he punched her multiple times, he victim then fought back and punched the attacker multiple times, chasing him away.The attacker fled westbound on Spruce Street having been beaten up by a girl.
Suspect Description: White male, 45-55 years old, thin build, salt/pepper hair, scruffy beard, blue and white button down shirt, rimless glasses, and blue jeans. He was carrying bags at the time of the attack.
