Nancy Wilson Talks Heart and The New Tour, Staring Next Week In Atlantic City

Nancy Wilson is a rock legend. Since about 1976 Nancy and Ann Wilson have been the constant mainstays of the band Heart. They have put out multiple records, played thousands of shows and they are starting their new tour May 31, 2025 at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City NJ.

“This is a continuation of the Royal Flush tour. We will play for about an hour, take about a 15 minute intermission and then com back and play. We’re putting a new spin on it, it’s going to be fun,” Wilson said. Heart last played a huge tour in 2019 and they opened that show with Rockin’ Heaven Down”. “That’s a fan favorite, It’s all about that 12 string,” Wilson said when talking about that song. It truly is a magical song.

While they may not play that song, “We’re always trying to put in new songs we have not played in a while, like “Down On Me”, We are going to try to give that one a shot, and maybe a few others.” Nancy knows that people want to hear the fan favorites, like “Crazy On You”, “Barracuda” and “Magic Man”. and they will be played.

Heart has undergone multiple personnel changes. In fact, the band you saw just a few years ago might not be the current touring lineup. “I think that my sister Ann and I are the identity that is Heart, we had a bad idea during the beginning of the band to form relationships with the band, that was a bad plan. We switched it out and switched it out again. It’s just sort of the way Heart works, Wilson said.

Nancy also has a side project called Road Case Royale and brought that project to Parx Casino before the pandemic. She also has a band management company called Road Case LLC, which provides band management. You can get more info on that here.
