Final Suspect Being Sought For Philly Murder



The Philadelphia Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Sunday, May 11, 2025, just before 4:40 p.m., near the intersection of M Street and East Luzerne Street. Responding officers were informed that the victim, a 30-year-old male, had already been transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle. The victim, identified as Qidere Johnson of the 1900 block of West Bristol Street, was pronounced dead at 4:56 p.m.

Following an intensive investigation, two suspects have been arrested in connection with Johnson’s murder. Nineteen-year-old Joshua Thomas-Coleman, of the 4100 block of Greeby Street, and 19-year-old Abdul Boyd, of the 1600 block of Granite Street, have both been taken into custody and charged with murder.

A third suspect, identified as 21-year-old Amir Earley, also known as “Earley” of the 4600 block of Mulberry Street, remains at large and is wanted for his involvement in the incident. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The Philadelphia Police Department urges anyone with information related to this case to contact the department’s tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477). A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible.

    The “cancer” of various neighborhoods is frequently caused by thugs like these types.
