by Alex Lloyd Gross
A male from Bensalem was arrested yesterday afternoon, after police said he allegedly chased another male with a knife on Bristol Pike and then tried to run him over with his vehicle. This happened about 4:10 PM, when police were informed about a disturbance in the area of Red Lion Road and Bristol Pike.
They were met by the victim who said he was minding his own business when a male in a red SUV pulled u and started to yell at him. The male jumped from the SUV with a knife and allegedly chased the victim, before trying to run the victim over.

This male drove his SUV into Philadelphia, and then back into Bensalem, where police said he made multiple attempts to run over the victim. Police identified the driver as Jeffrey Santucci, 66 from Bensalem. Police said security cameras captured most of the assault.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Reckless Endangerment of Another Person, and related offenses. District Justice Charles Jonas arraigned him; bail was set at $75,000 unsecured. Jeffrey Santucci was then released from custody. Police said the incident stemmed from jealousy over a woman the victim was dating.
