by Alex Lloyd Gross
Police have identified Markese Henderson as the male that allegedly scammed a newer cashier out of $4700 in merchandise using a fake “Cash Out” scam. Police in Warrington said two males entered the store on Easton Road and then went to the customer service desk to return items purchased at the Oaks store.
It was there he presented receipts and got $529.54 in cash. Henderson and his accomplice then went to the garden section and did four transactions, by paying with a card with a bar code,. He told the cashier to hit the cash button and then got receipts for the items. The cashier was unsure of themselves and listened to what the customer said.

In reality, police say that in that instance, you should ask for a manager ,regardless of what the customer says or how upset they may be getting. Police said this scam is a form of social engineering that exploits inexperienced employees.
Henderson and his accomplice loaded the purchases into a grey car with Nebraska plates. Police are looking for Henderson and have not yet arrested him. When they do, he will face charges of theft and access device fraud, police said.
