Three People Shot On Torresdale Avenue

Philadelphia Police were called to the 6300 block of Torresdale Avenue early this morning about 1:40 AM. When they arrived the found two people had been shot and those two were taken to Temple University Hospital by police. They were in a vehicle ,police said.The vehicle had multiple bullet holes in it, police said.

A third person went to Jefferson Frankford Hospital under his own transportation.

Victim #1, a 21-year-old male, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and is listed in stable condition. Victim #2, a 48-year-old male, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and is currently in critical but stable condition. Victim #3, a 24-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound to the left arm and is in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a dark-colored sedan approached the area and immediately began firing before fleeing southbound. No arrests have been made at this time. The Shooting Investigation Group is actively working the case.This investigation includes looking for security cameras that could have captured the incident. Police do not have a motive for the shooting.
