Freak Accident With Tow Truck On Grant Avenue

One elderly woman sustained minor injuries after she drove her vehicle onto the back of a flatbed tow truck on Grant Avenue. This crash happened today, a little bit after noon. A tow truck operated by O’Hara and Sons had just finished dropping a car at a collision center, for work to be done, on an unrelated crash.
The flat bed was down, the lights were on on the truck and the woman , who was driving east on the 2000 block of Grant Avenue drove up the flatbed, before getting stuck. Part of the right front of the car was hanging from the truck.
The tow truck driver Frank Morales said he was not in the truck when it happened. His truck was equipped with flashing lights, which were on. The lightbar was disengaged from the roof and hanging off of it. Traffic was diverted from the 2000 block of Grant Avenue for about 45 minutes.
