Arrest Made In Theft Of Heart’s Musical Instruments

Garfield Bennett of Pleasantville NJ was arrested in connection with the theft of a guitar and a mandolin from the rock band Heart. The band was all set to open their tour May 31,2025 in Atlantic City, when they noticed they were missing from the Hard Rock Casino.
An intense investigation using security footage found Bennett in possession of the stolen items , trying to sell them, He eventually sold one of them and the other has yet to be located. Police have not been able to track down the buyer.
It is unknown exactly how Bennett managed to get access to the instruments and get them out of the building. Bennett was arrested on Kentucky Avenue. He remains behind bars on theft charges. Anyone that has the instruments and does not surrender then to the police is going to be charged, once the instruments are located.
