Illegal Dirt Bike Crash In Northeast Philly

by Alex Lloyd Gross

It was a few minutes past noon today, when the driver of a dirt bike came zipping north on Frontenac Street, and went through a stop sign at St. Vincent Street. The driver collided with a car, , laid down the bike and slid into and partially under a parked vehicle. The driver bloody and bruised ran away from the scene on foot, leaving behind the dirt bike.

When police got to the scene, they tried to find a VIN for the dirt bike but it was obliterated. The dirt bike also did not have a license plate. All signs point to it possibly being a stolen bike. The driver of the car drove off with no injury and police were taking possession of the bike.

It is in bad condition, with a lot of the fender and body missing, from the crash. The bike is going to be at McCallister and Whittaker Avenues, which is where the Major Crimes Squad is. Once there, they will investigate farther to see who the bike belongs to.

These goonballs regularly race the bikes down all the streets day and night.
Blowing through stop signs, loud exhaust pipes, so annoying.
Mayfair seems to have turned into another Atco Raceway – cars included.
Honestly, when they crash, I’m happy.
If they die from that reckless behavior, oh well!, they controlled their own destiny.
One less noise-maker to worry about.
