Argument Over Fireworks + Gun= Arrest In Bensalem

On June 18,2025, someone was setting off some fireworks in an apartment complex on 1900 block of Park Avenue, police said. It was about 9:43 PM and some people were trying to go to bed. Before long, an argument started between the two families in the apartments.
Police said that during the argument, Tiara Blackston, who lived at the apartment complex pulled out a 9mm Taurus handgun, and fired one shot in the direction of the person she was arguing with. She missed and police said no one was shot.
Police recovered the weapon and investigated the incident. Blackston was charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Reckless Endangerment of Another Person, Possessing Instrument of Crime, and Harassment. Tiara Blackston was arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Lisa J. Gaier who set her bail at 10% of $250,000. Blackston was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
