Cat Napper Arrested By Bensalem Police

Madina Sherkulova,of Bensalem has an arrest record for retail previous theft charges. She now has another charge of retail theft for an unusual shoplifting incident, police said. On June 21,2025, police said she went to the Pets Plus on Bristol Pike and allegedly stole a kitten.
Police said that video shows her going into a cat area with a large bag. Instead of buying the cat, or adopting it, she is accused of placing it in her oversized handbag. and leaving with the British Shorthair. Police looked at tape, got her identification and went to her home on Hopkins Ave, where they recovered the kitten, unharmed.
With a Catastrophe averted, police then went back to Sherkulova’s home with a pair of handcuffs. She is now in the Bucks County Prison under $150,000 /10 percent bond. The kitten awaits a buyer who can give her a name and a good home.
