
City Worker Arrested For Vandalizing PGW Property

Philadelphia Police said that 59 year old Carnell Walker was a city employee who was on strike. Yesterday, the first day of the District Council 33 strike, he came upon PGW worker on the 3900 block of Ford Road. This man was in a digger loader working.

Walker is alleged to have walked up to him and demanded to know why he was not out on strike. Walker then pulled out a knife and punctured a rear tire on the truck, police said. In the process of doing this, police said he hurt his hand, and need to go to the hospital.

After he was treated, Walker was arrested for vandalism and weapons offenses.
