
Maurice Hill Gets 120 to 240 Years In Prison For Shooting At Police
Maurice Hill will die in prison. In August 2019 he let loose a barrage of gunfire at officers that responded to the 3700 block of North 15th Street in Philadelphia. Nine officers were hurt, six of them were shot.

He fired over 100 rounds at police . Hill was convicted on three counts of attempted murder, nine counts of aggravated assault, nine counts of assault of a law enforcement officer, and multiple gun charges. Police were at his home for drug charges, but in May of this year, he was found not guilty of them.

Hill’s defense was that he thought people were breaking into his home. In light of over 100 officers around his house, he expected to be acquitted of those charges as well.
