Philly Male Gets Hit With Almost $60,000 In Penalties For Trying to Sneak Onto An Airplane

by Alex Lloyd Gross

On June 24, 2025, Jonathan “Jon” Beaulieu, 32, of Philadelphia really had to get on an airplane. He bypassed a line and then walked up to a security guard who was guarding an exit only lane. Beauieu told the guard he left is phone in the secured area. The guard tried to get police to help him look but no officers were available. It was a ruse, there was no lost phone.

That did not deter Beaulieu, he tried to bribe the guard with $50.00 which was refused. He started arguing with the guard who held her ground. He asked her is the $50.00 could get him into the secured area. When he was told it could not, he walked past her anyhow and boarded a plane.

Police were notified and officers tracked him to an American Airlines plane and that plane was about to take off. It was called back to the terminal and Beaulieu was brought off the plane and arrested. All of the passengers had to re book a flight. The total cost of this was $59,143, which was charged to Beaulieu after he pleaded guilty in February of this year. He will also do one year of probation.
