Four Vehicles Taken In Bristol Twp In Past 48 Hours
by Alex Lloyd Gross
Bristol Township Police have taken four different, unrelated reports of vehicles that were taken in the township in the past two days. According to Sgt. Jason Mancuso, some of the vehicles had key fobs left in them at the time of the theft. Or the cars were left unlocked.

Police want you to stop leaving keys, key fobs in your vehicle, especially when it’s parked overnight. It is a matter of convivence to simply wake up and get into a vehicle with the windows down and it’s not blazing hot. People that do this could very well find their vehicle stolen. Rolling the windows up is afree theft deterrent.
It does not matter the type or year of the vehicle. Vehicles that use key fobs, can be stolen by crooks that drive around with readers, taking information via radio frequencies of the key fob. A small investment into a Faraday pouch can help you keep your vehicle longer, police said.
It is harder for a car thief to take a car that is locked and secured with the windows up, Mancuso said.
