Police Release Photos Of Armored Car Robbers

Two black males that were in a newer model black Nissan. are wanted for the attempted armed robbery of an armored car July 15, 2025 on the 8200 block of Castor Ave. The vehicle has black rims and was last seen in north on Castor Ave, police said..
About 11:30 AM, they approached a driver as he made a drop off on the 8200 block of Castor Ave. They announced a robbery and the driver fired eight gunshots at the males, missing them all. One male ran north on Castor and the other jumped into the car.

The driver scooped up his partner and sped off. While detectives were processing the scene, others were securing security camera footage, which is in this article. No arrests have been made.
The entire case is being investigated by Northeast Detectives. Federal agents were also on scene helping with the investigation.
