A skimmer sits in a credit card machine. It gathers all of your information and stores it. A thief can then take the skimmer and download all information stored on it, and then sell it on the black market. This includes identity theft, new credit cards are made without permission, banking information is used to close and open fraudulent accounts.
Warminster police found a skimmer device at a cashier station in the Costco located at 100 Veterans Way. Using security cameras, police developed two persons of interest that they want to talk to in regard to this . They are hoping someone will know who they are or where they are.
