Police Release Video Of Armed Carjacking Near West Oak Lane

Philadelphia Police released a video that shows an armed carjacking at a gas station, at 1440 Cheltenham Avenue. Police said this happened at about 1:40AM July 17,2025. A woman is sitting in her vehicle while getting gas at a pump. Two males pull a car into the station, then get out.
They approach her car, order her out and then one leaves in her car and the other leaves in the car they arrived in. The only description is two black males wearing all black with masks. They left west on Cheltenham Avenue, police said. Armed carjacking is a federal offense, and the maximum penalty is life in prison.
