Actress Taylor Treadwell Is In Town For Movie Screening

On August 1 2025, actress Taylor Treadwell is coming to the Philadelphia area for a movie screening. The movie is called American Warrior and according to Treadwell, “I play the love interest of the lead character. His name is Jai and he just got out of prison. He works as a janitor for a gym. “He breaks up a robbery and it’s caught on video. He then gets into MMA fighting. He is older and a lot of things are weighing on him,” Treadwell said during a brief interview about the film while she was waiting for her flight from Atlanta.
“We have done a few screenings and people have cried after the movie, for the way it made them feel. I resonates with people who are going through addiction or know someone that is. This is a story about redemption and hope,” Treadwell said. “The great thing about this movie is that it all comes together naturally”, The challenge is this movie role is that Jai is a recovering addict and there is a lot that happens off screen that the audience does not see but they feel it while watching the movie,” she said.
Taylor Treadwell has been here before as she related, “it was for a wedding on Rittenhouse and my boyfriend and I went to the hotel and told them we are here for the wedding. They sent us to the 8th floor and we were there for about a half hour until we realized it was the wrong wedding,” she laughed.
One of my favorite things to do when I am in a town like Philadelphia is to walk around especially to the old parts of town. She does not get recognized which is a good things as it give her anonymity . Treadwell is not really active on social media except for Instgram. @@taytreads
If you recognize her name she is best known for Big Little Lies, or Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, for example.
American Warrior will be released on August 29, 2025 to a limited theatrical audience. From there it will be released to steaming services. Many people will post clips of movies to social media that generates intense interest in people that would not normally watch the movie and then they go stream it, It is quite possible that this movie will get an entirely new audience months after it is initially released.
