National Night Out Is Tonight. Here Is Where You Can Go
by Alex Lloyd Gross
The first Tuesday in August in National Night Out. It is where community members can become familiar with law enforcement and get safety tips or crime fighting information. Last night, in Abington Twp. many different agencies came out to a parking lot where over 70 different agencies and businesses in the area had tables set up. A lot of them had swag and other goodies to give away. Each one was trying to outdo the other.

Rockledge, Upper Dublin, Cheltenham, Upper and Lower Moreland and Penn State Police were just a few of the law enforcement agencies set up there. The Pennsylvania Game Commission was there as well.
While most people departments will participate in this, not every National Night Out is being held at the Police Department headquarters. Others have teamed up, like last night in Abington.
