18 People Just Got Banned From Pa Casinos

by Alex Lloyd Gross

18 people got themselves banned from all types of gambling (except lottery tickets) in Pennsylvania, according to the PA Gaming Control Board. Some of those banned were found to be engaged on fraudulent transactions while gaming online.

Two were banned for leaving children in their car while they placed a bet at the sports book, they are A male patron who left his 12-year-old child in a vehicle in the parking lot of Rivers Philadelphia Casino for 22 minutes while he gambled in the sportsbook; and, A male patron who left children ages 6 and 13 in a vehicle in the parking lot of Live! Casino Philadelphia for 13 minutes while he gambled in the sportsbook.

It may seem okay to leave a child in the car unattended because you are only going to be going in to place a bet or two. It is not. Even leaving a child inside a car alone for a minute is against the law.

A total of 1428 people are banned from casinos involuntarily. Officials say when they are banned it is very difficult to be removed off this list. Someone on the list that sneaks into a PA casino will be arrested. Every month that the gaming board meets, there are people that petition to be removed from the ban list and their appeal just about always gets denied.

  1. Gambling, a long-time and widespread entertainment “game” and the casinos that promote it, are just another potential addiction, easily abused, and fed to the people.
Not much different than having a cellphone taking over your life with it’s “apps”.
I’m no religious type, but wasn’t there a mention in that Bible that gambling is a sin?
So much for human morals….. down the toilet.
