Queen Tribute Band From England To Play New Theater In DELCO

by Alex Lloyd Gross

Patrick Myers is from England and he is making a trip to America. The reason he is coming is because his band Killer Queen is planning a US Tour. This is a cover band playing the songs of Queen. They are coming to the newly re opened Lansdowne Theater on September 27, 2025.

Myers is the front man and for about two hours, he channels, and becomes Freddie Mercury on stage. “Not only to do sound like Queen but we try to look like them too, we intend to give people a great evening out,” Myers said from the UK.

The entire band is from the UK and the response in America has “Been phenomenal. We’ve sold out Red Rocks eight times now and we have several other sold out dates . People are very passionate about rock and roll in America and they seem to like Queen.” Myers said.

“We do a lot of the AM rock hits from the 70′ s but we also do Sail On Sweet Sister and Stone Cold Crazy. You can expect them to do songs off of New Of The World and Jazz. “We’re going to stick to songs that Freddie sang”, so unfortunately, tracks like Fun It will not be played.

The band formed after Freddie’s death, they wanted to be a tribute to Queen and it went over well. So well that the guys n Killer Queen do meet and greets before the show and they sign autographs and pose for photos.

A few tickets remain for this show.
