Bensalem Resident Escalates Retail Theft Charges In Tullytown

by Alex Lloyd Gross

On September 25, 2025 police said that Anatoly POGORETSKY went into the Tullytown Wal-Mart and allegedly walked out of the store without paying for merchandise. He was observed leaving and pushing his shopping cart through the parking lot. Loss prevention saw the theft happen and called police.

When Pogoretsky was approached by police, he refused their commands to go back to the store, police said. When officers tried to handcuff him he was not cooperative and an off duty officer had to help restrain him.

When it was all said and done, Pogoretsky managed to turn a summary retail theft charge into a Resisting Arrest as well.
