Hilltown Driver Arrested For Hit and Run And Unauthorized Driving
by Alex Lloyd Gross
Police in Hilltown have charged Tallen Rex Clark of Pennsburg with hit and run and other charges. Clark was not allowed to be driving any vehicle unless it had an ignition interlock system. That means you have to blow into a machine and if your breath has alcohol in it, you cannot drive. This restriction is put on a driver who has a DUI conviction.

On July 12, 2025 Clark was driving through a parking lot on Bethlehem Pike , near the Wal-Mart. Police said he was speeding and not stopping at stop signs. Before long, he struck a vehicle that was exiting the parking lot. Clark then sped in his car and left the Hilltown Plaza, almost hitting two people.

Prior to entering the shopping center, he rear ended another car just outside of that shopping center but did not identfy himself, instead he sped off . He abandoned his vehicle at the County Line Plaza. Police saw the damage and looked at security video . Clark was advised of an arrest warrant and turned himself in. He admitted to being the driver and admitted to driving a vehicle without an interlock system.
Clark is 19 years old. The legal drinking age is 21.
