17 Year Old Arrested For Weekend Murder Near NE High School

Philadelphia Police identified a 17 year old male as the suspected shooter in a murder that happened this Saturday, a block away from Northeast High School. 16-year-old Xzavier Gregory, was shot and killed on the 1700 block of Teesdale Street just before 4:00PM
Another person, an 18 year old female was shot in her ankle and was taken to Jefferson Hospital, Torresdale Division . She is in stable condition.She ran into a nearby laundromat for help and to escape the gunman, police said.
Just after 6:00 AM, an arrest warrant was served on Sahhir Mouzon, of the 1800 block of Corlies Street in connection with this incident. Mouzon has been charged with Murder, REAP (Recklessly Endangering Another Person), and VUFA (Violations of the Uniform Firearms Act). He will be help with no bail. While serving the warrant, police took another person in for questioning.
No mugshot is available for Mouzon at this time. Police did not release a motive for the shooting.
