Warrington Male Charged With Attempted Murder In Newtown Road Rage

Bucks County Police have charged Christopher Corbi from Valley Road in Warrington with attempted murder, assault and weapons offenses after he alleged shot a woman who was driving on the Newtown Bypass about 6:15PM, when she passed a vehicle, along with other vehicles. The driver of that car, a blue Honda Civic is alleged to have fired a bullet at the woman’s car,piercing the side window and striking her in the wrist, police said in court documents.


The woman then told police she let the driver pass and got the tag number. She then followed the car onto Woodbourne Road and from there onto Swift Road in Middletown. It was there that the driver, later identified as Corbi, allegedly got out, and fired several more shots at her car,piercing the windshield. Corbi is alleged to have driven away .


Police found his car after it pulling into a shopping center on Washington Crossing Road. When they interviewed Corbi, he told them he tossed the gun into a trash can at the Pet Smart on Eagle Road, He also dumped ammunition in a trash can next door, according to police.

Corbi was arraigned by District Justice John Galloway and remanded to the Bucks County Prison under $1,000,000.00 bail. His next court date is November 6, but that could change. You can read the original story here.
