Woman Killed In Whittaker Ave Hit and Run

Philadelphia Police confirmed that at 9:56PM last night, a 63 year old woman was crossing Wyoning Avenue at Whi8ttaker Avenue. She was using the crosswalk, when a a 2012 white Infiniti M37, struck her. The driver stopped for a short period of time to look at the woman and see what he had done.
That car then sped away north on Whittaker Avenue. and was found unoccupied at A and Louden Streets. Police are checking security cameras to determine the driver and to track the vehicle. The woman was rushed to Temple Hospital by medics where she passed at 9:34 PM, police said.
