Bensalem Trump Store To Close January 31, 2026

The Trump Store, located in the Bensalem Shopping Center on the 1900 block of Street Road, will close on January 31, 2026. Whether you love Donald Trump or hate him and everything he stands for, this is a business that brought tax revenue into local government and provided employment for people in the area.
The reason for the closure is that the landlord has raised the rent to an unrealistic amount that would force the business to go under. People are only willing to pay so much for branded clothing; they will either look elsewhere or do without. There are already two vacant storefronts in the shopping center.

The store sells merchandise promoting Trump and his supporters, such as magnets, standees, and, of course, clothing. According to Lisa VonDeylon, who works there, “We will be at gun shows and other similar events, and our online store is still going to be operational.”

In October 2024, Donald Trump was campaigning at a Feasterville McDonald’s and took questions from the media. This reporter asked him if he was going to stop at the Trump Store. He was excited by the prospect but was dissuaded by a handler, who told him it was 30 minutes away instead of seven.
Many retail stores are going by the wayside as rents increase and people shop online. Obviously, when you shop online, you get what you get. During a visit to the Trump Store, a customer was unsure of what size shirt to buy and was invited to try it on in a fitting room before purchasing. There is no fitting room in an online store.
