Accused Armored Car Robbers Now Face Federal Charges

During the spring and summer of last year, you may remember several armored car robberies committed by males heavily armed with guns. In multiple cases gunshots were fired. Dante Shackleford, 26, and Mujahid Davis, 24, both of Philadelphia were arrested by Philadelphia Police.

Just this week both males were charged with superseding indictments on the federal level. The robberies include somerobberies in Montgomery County. Specifically, they are:

The July 2, 2025, robbery of a Brinks truck in Philadelphia

(Davis and others)

·    the July 15, 2025, attempted robbery of a Brinks truck in Philadelphia

(ShacklefordDavis, and others)

·    the July 22, 2025, attempted robbery of a Brinks truck in Elkins Park, Pa.

(Shackleford and others)

·    the August 12, 2025, robbery of a Brinks truck in Elkins Park, Pa.

(ShacklefordDavis, and others)

·    the October 3, 2025, attempted robbery of a Brinks truck in Philadelphia

(ShacklefordDavis, and others)

These males are charged with with four counts of robbery interfering with interstate commerce (Hobbs Act robbery). Davis is also charged with two counts, and Shackleford with one count, of using, carrying, and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence,US Attorney David Metcalf said.

  1. The young black society is busy keeping their reputation of violence, assaulting, theft, looting and murder firmly cemented in people’s minds.
    I guess they want to make sure that the civilized part of society will never forget their criminal efforts.
    Now imagine if they would put that energy towards helping others, or working for a living.
