One year later, lawsuits and unanswered questions remain regarding how a medical aircraft crashed along Cottman Avenue. Debris from the crash stretched from Roosevelt Boulevard to Bustleton Avenue. A large crater at the impact site in front of Raising Cane’s was the final area to be repaired.

The memorial service will take place inside the firehouse and is not open to the public. It is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. Following the service, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the crash site. The memorial will be livestreamed on the city’s Facebook page from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
