Franklin Mall Now Re-Opened For Business

The Franklin Mall ( formerly Franklin Mills) Mall has been cleared to reopen effective immediately . A problem with the fire suppression system a week ago caused the mall to close until repairs could be made.
Now all stores with a mall entry can re open those entry ways and the entire mall is now keeping regular hours. There may be some stores that do not open on time but that should get straightened out within a few days.
This mall was opened in 1989 and that was the time the fire suppression system was installed. Fire officials went around the interior of the mall testing the system before it could open. That happened again this week and the system passed.
