Male Wanted For Northeast Philly Murder

Philadelphia Police have issued a murder warrant for Michael White of the 1300 block of Wells Street. He is accused of shooting and killing Vaswani Brown, 35, of the 1400 block of Levick Street on March 4, just after 7:00 PM 2026. Brown was found laying in the street, with one gun shot wound to the torso. He was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he passed at 7:46 PM, police said.
Michael White, 23, described as a Black male, approximately 5’11” and 250 pounds, with a last known address on the 1300 block of Wells Street, is currently wanted on an active arrest warrant for Brown’s murder. He should be considered Armed and Dangerous.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. The motive for the shooting is unknown, police said.
