Woman Arrested For Dropping Child Inside Tullytown Wal-Mart

Police in Tullytown have arrested 28 year old Samantha Fletcher after she is alleged to have been acting irrationally inside the Tullytown Wal-Mart on March 14, 2026. A concerned citizen observed Fletcher allegedly dragging one child by a backpack leash on the floor of the store. The child was crying.

According to police, Fletcher then picked up the child and dropped him into a shopping cart, causing him to hit his head. At some point the child lost consciousness. Police located Samantha Fletcher in the store holding the unconscious child in her arms.

Police then called EMS to the scene who determined the child needed to go to the hospital right away. Samantha Fletcher was subsequently arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Endangering Welfare of Children, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Simple Assault. Fletcher was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Terrence p. Hughes, Sr who set her bail at 10% of $100,000. Fletcher was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
