Vehicle Flips On Pond Street In Bristol Borough

A driver, suspected of being intoxicated ruined his vehicle and damaged two others just after 9:00 PM March 21, 2026. He crashed into a parked vehicle, on the 600 block of Pond Street, near Wood. Street.
Police on scene said the driver was south on Pond, when he veered from the road, clipped the rear of a parked car, causing that car to get pushed into another car. The driver was trapped in his truck for a brief period of time until rescue companies arrived and cut the windshield and got him out.
The driver was slurring his words and not making sense, according to witnesses that talked with him. He was not speeding, they reiterated. The driver was taken to the hospital and police will take a blood draw to determine if he was intoxicated. Pond Street was closed for about an hour until the vehicle could be towed away.
