More questions than answers in teen assault in Croydon

By Alex Lloyd Gross

Police in Bristol Twp.have more questions than answers about what happened on Sycamore Street , near  Fourth Avenue in the township Croydon section, last night, March 30, 2018  Medics were called to a house on Sycamore Street for an assault. When they arrived, the discovered a teenage girl beaten badly.  The girl was assaulted and was discovered by her parents when they arrived home.

As the investigation was underway, police in Bensalem found her cousin, a 19year old male along State Road with a gunshot wound. He is expected to survive. Police could not say anything more about the motive for the assault, or if the 19 year old is the same person that assaulted the teenage girl.

The area around the house was closed for several hours so detectives could examine the scene and look for additional evidence on the street. The cousin was staying at the house on Sycamore Street. It is unknown how he got to State Rd.  Bristol Police want to hear from you if you were in the area and saw something. None of the neighbors heard any of the assault take place.
