A stubborn fire in Bensalem left a huge warehouse off of Woodhaven Drive damaged just after 8:15 PM yesterday, April 4, 2018. No injuries were reported.  As  fire companies  from Bensalem arrived, they had smoke emanating from the building. It took a bit for firefighters to find the source of the fire and put it out.  There was a large amount of smoke , which caused most of the damage.

A cause has not been determined.  Earlier, fire crews  and fire police were called to the area for wires. This caused State Road to be closed.  It is unknown if the two incidents are at all related. Fire Police were called to the scene from Bensalem and Bristol Townships to divert traffic.  With State Road closed for the wires call from earlier, alternate roads like Bristol Pike  were congested with traffic. By 9:15 PM, most of the apparatus had taken up from the scene.  The cause is  still under investigation.
