Two School Buses collide in Bensalem

It could have been much worse, when a  Durham  Services School Bus collided with a Pennsbury School District transport van,  on Richlieu Rd in Bensalem Township March 6 2019.  No injuries were reported at the scene,police said.  School district personnel along with emergency responders made certain that the kids on both vehicles were taken care of.  The crash happened just before  4:00 PM on the 3100 block of Richlieu Road.

Preliminary reports were that a female driving the bus was trying to exit the parking lot of a church and struck the van as it passed by, having the right of way. The front windshield of the transport van was smashed and the front end of the bus was heavily damaged.  Both vehicles were positioned in such as way that the road did not have to be closed. No charges have been filed as of yet.
