A grinding three vehicle crash resulted in at least one person being transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.  The crash happened about 1:30 PM February 21, 2020 at Bustleton Avenue  and Rhawn Street. Police said the crash was caused when one driver did not stop for a red light.

As two vehicles crashed, one of those vehicles ,operated by  Eugeenya Weller of Philadelphia went out of control and slammed into a PECO pole , causing it to snap and wires to fall across Bustleton Avenue. A street sign was also damaged in the wreck.  Police did not say which vehicle went through the light.  A third vehicle traveling  north on Bustleton, through the intersection was struck by one of the vehicles.  Both PECO and the Streets Department were called to the scene to remove the pole and wires.
