House fire under investigation in Bensalem

The Bensalem Fire Marshal is working to determine the cause of a quick moving house fire on the 800 block of Cornwells Ave. The fire happened today, November 26, 2018. No injuries were reported during the afternoon fire. This house is located across the street from the Cornwells Fire Company. and down the street from the Union Fire Company. Even though they were on scene within minutes. and the fire was in it’s infancy, it spread rapidly. There were reports of a dog that was still in the house. As the Fire Marshal was doing his work, looking for burn patterns and point of origin, companies remained on scene well into the late afternoon assisting with lighting and debris removal.
A cause has not yet been released .
