If you are looking for something to do during the weekend, and do not want to spend a lot of money, check out the Philly Home Show.  It’s being held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, in center city.  If you own a home or are thinking of buying one, you should check this out.  Inside, there are lots of ideas for home improvements and general contracting.  People will want to give you prices on windows, siding, gutters, spas and roofing. Those are the major repairs.

However, at this show, there are other booths that feature different kinds of vendors.  such as insoles for your feet, lamps and even things for cats and dogs.  Some of the vendors there even have little promotional items to give away, like pencils to umbrellas.  There are special appearances buy  people that are good do it your selfers.  Getting to the home show is best done with public transportation.

If you are going to go there,  click here to save $3.00 on an admission ticket. It’s not much, but that $3.00 is better in your pocket. Even if you rent,  there are things for sale that will enhance your living space. It’s worth it to spend a few hours there. Go early, avoid the crowds. This show runs this weekend and next weekend. It is not open during the week.
