On Monday, June 24 the Bensalem and Levittown branches of the Bucks County Free Library will offer free lunches to children 18 years and younger.

Lunch will be served four times a week Mondays through Thursdays 12 to 1 p.m. Children do not have to apply or register for meals.

Kids can visit the library and enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal as part of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP),  a federally funded program run by the USDA. SFSP ensures that children from low-income areas continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session.

BCFL is partnering with the Bensalem Township School District, a sponsor of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), to provide the meals.

The Bensalem Branch is located at 3700 Hulmeville Road in Bensalem. The Levittown Branch is located at 7311 New Falls Road in Levittown.

If you have any questions about the meals program , contact the individual branches directly: Bensalem (215) 638-2030; Levittown (215) 949-2324. For questions regarding funding for the SFSP, please contact Michelle Wexler, Development Director, at (215) 348-0332 x1115.

The program ends on August 15.
