14 Year Old Arrested For Bensalem Armed Robbery

A 14 year old from Bensalem is now charged with felony armed robbery after a decision that will follow him for life. He walked into the Freedom Gas ( Karko station) on Street Road at 1:08 AM. He aksed for free candy.
The clerk refused, so the juvenile displayed what appeared to be a handgun and stated, “Do you want this?” Believing the weapon was real, the clerk backed away to avoid further confrontation. The juvenile then took a piece of candy and fled the store.
He was on foot and ran away. police checked township security cameras and found him with a loaded airsoft pistol at William Penn and Cheltenham Avenues, which is less than a mile from the store.
Police said the juvenile lives on Route 13 which could be the St. Francis group home police have had trouble with a few years ago. The juvenile is charged with felony robbery, police said.
