Free International Soccer Tournament in Philadelphia

If you like soccer you need to be in Philadelphia for the 4th Annual Philadelphia Unity Cup Tournament. This features amateur soccer players representing countries all across the globe competing right here in Philadelphia. Games are taking place all over the city and the culmination is the championship game October 12, 2019 at Talen Energy Stadium. It’s all free.
The kick off was August 2, 2019 at Northeast High School. Games continue there all day Saturday and Sunday August 3 and 4 2019. These players are playing the sport for the love of the game. Nobody is getting paid. There are no players that wish to take away from the game to draw attention to themselves or a cause. The only thing these players want to do is score points and keep points from getting scored against their team.
Officials with the United Cup said that even the championship game is free. tickets are free and will be available at the box office on the game of the game. If you go to any of the local games, bring your own food and water. There may be outside vendors . Seats are first come, first served. You can leave at any time and come back, officials said.
