Shateira Sharde Coles of  Jackson Street in Philadelphia is facing serious charges in Bucks County, after Bensalem cops nabbed her for stealing checks.  The entire scenario started on September 10 2019, when a report was made from O’neill’s Catering  on Street Road.  Four business checks were stolen. Just who took them was a mystery. As time went on, it was learned that Coles allegedly wrote three checks payable to herself, totaling $2774.60.

A fourth check was made out to the name Quamir White for $957.33.  Through further investigation, it was discovered that Coles had been arrested before under similar circumstances.  The checks were dusted for fingerprints and on all of the checks made payable to Coles, her fingerprints were on all of them. She was arrested and charged with Access Device Fraud and writing bad checks and related charges.

She was sent to Bucks County Prison under $35,000 bail /10 percent. Her next court date is November 20. Her previous charges are also from Bensalem and she was free on unsecured $75,000 bail from those charges, according to court documents.
